About

Big Mannequin is an armature over which to drape news, commentary, and queries related to men’s fashion, style, and personal expression.

Its signal originates from a perspective that is both hyper-focussed – cis male, Gen X, West Coast – yet internally balanced – bookish and iconographic, high- and low-end, historical and futuristic.

It is a collaboration between former professional colleagues but centred on a subject neither is professionally employed in, marking it not as a passion project or labour of love per se but more so simply a space to pull on threads to see what unravels, pun fully intended.
